The Reiki Evolution: Reiki evolves with you

This year, 2025, has been such a transformative year - it's the year of endings in terms of numerology (2+0+2+5 = 9) and the Year of the Snake. Mix them both and it has been a year of shedding the skin. Earlier this year, I had an awakening. I met a guy, who I had been seeing for 2 years. There were a few red flags along the way, but I chose to ignore them. The day I found out he was a liar and a cheat, my life flashed in front of my eyes where all the times my intuition told me he was lying, I was 100% right. It was that day forward, I woke up. I awakened. I listened to my intuition. I chose me over him.

And, that was the start of my transformation this year. I started pouring all the love I have - and I have A LOT - back into myself and my daughter. We started thriving. Thriving and connecting. Connecting with source. Connecting with the Divine. I started channeling more messages, praying more, thanking more. I attended ceremonies and went on retreats. I connected back to my heart.

And, then, I started craving. Craving an energy that can handle my transformation. I wanted something 'more powerful', 'stronger' and so I started looking. I came across other energy modalities and nothing resonated. Then, in the summer, I taught the Reiki Master course in London. And, the answers were all there - within me. The answer was in the Reiki - universal life force energy. It hit me, just like the lightning bolt hit Usui, Reiki evolves with you. I didn't need 'another' energy. I had what I needed inside of me - the flow of Reiki.

As I stood by my Reiki student, Nish, he felt a pillar of energy beside him. I am the channel and as I have grown and transformed, the Reiki grows with me. It is so obvious. Yet at the time, I couldn't see it. Insights come to you at the right time. Sometimes, we are blinded by what is reality. Reality is everything but reality. And, that's another blog!

So, what to takeaway from this blog. Keep practicing Reiki. Keep mastering Reiki. And, it's simply using it everyday. If you are attuned to the Reiki symbols, use the. Play with them. Explore. As you work more with Reiki, as you talk to it more, Reiki will talk back.
